I'm anxious as can be...September 4th is finally here and it's almost showtime at the Ray Stevens CabaRay showroom!! Where I am we're in the Eastern time zone and Nashville is an hour behind me in the Central time zone...nearing 1:30pm Central in Nashville and 2:30pm Eastern here. Yes, I bring that up just in case there are people on their way to the CabaRay from the Eastern time zone...you'll be an hour ahead of schedule given the time zone change once you cross a certain area. I think that area is near the Kentucky/Tennessee border. I'm speaking from the perspective of a fan traveling down to Tennessee from the Midwest. Some people may be traveling from the South in Eastern time and then they'll reach that portion of the country where Eastern time switches to Central time as they get into Tennessee. Whichever direction you're traveling to the CabaRay keep in mind the time zone difference.
The doors open at the CabaRay at 5pm. The Piano Bar is where most people sit and listen to the pianist or you can walk around the showroom, in certain areas of course, and you'll hear the pianist all over the showroom. The gift shop typically opens it's doors at 6pm and it's also open after a concert...the same with the Piano Bar. Those who attend a concert and have chosen a dinner you'll be able to find your seats inside the concert area beginning at 6:30pm. The doors to the concert area are closed until 6:30pm. If you haven't chosen a dinner option you can still enter the concert area beginning at 6:30pm and find your seat. The people who chose not to purchase a dinner option usually prefer to stay inside the Piano Bar until shortly before Ray's concert at 7:30pm.
